History:
The Concept of the Children's Hospital & the institute of Child Health, Lahore was presented in the annual meeting of Pakistan Paediatric Association in 1984, foundation stone was laid down in 1990, OPD Block was operationalized in May, 1995 and emergency services was started in October, 1996.
The Children's Hospital has been providing inpatient services since December 18, 1998. The hospital provides a wide range of services both inpatient and outpatient, with full backup of diagnostic services. The Institute of Child Health is providing post graduate training to very large number of doctors in multiple disciplines as well as conducting research projects. The institute also encompasses the School of Nursing and the School of Allied Health Sciences.  ..
